Part-Time Faculty: Head Softball Coach

HEAD SOFTBALL COACH

The position of Head Softball Coach is Open Until Filled so we can find the ideal candidates for our amazing team.

The compensation for this position is a $12,000 stipend. The Head Softball Coach will work approximately 15 hours/week and 7 months/year.

As the Part-Time Head Softball Coach, you will be primarily responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Women’s Softball program, including the supervision of assistant coaches. This position plays a key leadership role in the recruitment and development of student-athletes, execution of practice and game strategies, public relations, fundraising, budgeting, academic oversight, and compliance with institutional and conference regulations. Additionally, the coach will instruct sport-related courses as part of the college’s academic offerings.

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
• Minimum of three years of collegiate coaching experience preferred. Five years at the high school or club level may be considered.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to complete institutional 15-passenger bus training.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
