What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Scheduler – School & Educational Construction Projects position at UMP (United Master Planners)?
Compensation: $150,000-$175,000**

UMP is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler with a minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in construction scheduling, specifically within public sector, educational, and school projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed CPM schedules aligned with program and project requirements
- Review and validate contractor schedules for compliance with contract standards
- Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, delay analysis, and time impact evaluations
- Prepare schedule updates, variance reports, and executive-level summaries
- Support cost-loaded scheduling and cash flow forecasting
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment
- Identify risks and provide proactive solutions to maintain project timelines
- Participate in site visits to monitor progress and validate schedule performance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction projects
- Strong experience with public works and educational/school construction projects required
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, cost control, and schedule performance analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
