Location: Leominster, MA and Marlborough, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health – HealthAlliance Clinton Hospital-Leominster, and UMass Memorial Medical Center, Marlborough Campus Specialty: Palliative Care Schedule: Full Time At UMass Memorial Health, we believe that exceptional palliative care enhances quality of life for patients and families facing serious illness. We are seeking a compassionate and innovative physician leader to serve as our Community Palliative Care Medical Director, providing clinical expertise while advancing the growth of palliative care services across Central Massachusetts. This position offers the rare opportunity to lead a respected inpatient program in Leominster and develop a new inpatient program in Marlborough, creating lasting impact for patients, families, and care teams. Key Highlights Join a thriving, multidisciplinary palliative care team that includes 8 physicians, 5 advanced practice clinicians, and talented, dedicated support staff. Drive the strategic growth and development of palliative care services across two community-based campuses. Shape a new palliative care program in Marlborough with strong organizational support and leadership engagement. Care for a diverse patient population with complex medical and psychosocial needs. Utilize Epic EMR and advanced technology tools that support efficient, coordinated care delivery. Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents and hospice and palliative medicine fellows.
