Job Summary
The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests by efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area. Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests at their tables.
- Assist servers in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen.
- Support banquet services by assisting in setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and culinary basics.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, particularly in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Experience in bussing tables and assisting cooks is advantageous but not required.
