What You Will Be Doing
A ss i s ts the Production Manager and area Production supervisor in running a smooth production, with a focus on safety, process control, and process/product improvements. Manages process/product improvement projects in cooperation with maintenance department. Acts as technical liaison for alignment of processes and technology.
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
Personal Skills
BS Chemical Engineer or BS Mechanical Engineering prefered
Minimum 2 Years Experience In Process Manufacturing
Demonstarted experience with HAZOP and process safety preferred

What You Will Be Doing

EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
- Drives execution of defined projects aimed at process safety improvements
- Partners with production manager and EHS Dept. to plan, prepare documentation, and execute yearly process risk assessments on process installations
- Drives completion of action items defined in PRA and PSM program
- Works with site quality and EHS on timely completion of 8D and MOC action items
- Ensures that the quality requirements for the ISO 9001/14001 (and other management systems) are understood and implemented
- Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Assists in quality and environmental audits as needed
- For process out of control instances or hardware failures, performs first line troubleshooting with RCA’s and FMEA’s in cooperation with production staff and maintenance
- Assists maintenance in identifying preventive maintenance
- Develops sustainable critical spare parts inventory
- Implements pareto methodologies to manage/schedule process repairs and life-cycle replacement of equipment
- Collaborates with outside specialists for regular maintenance and troubleshooting
- Project manager for capital projects involving equipment/processes in HPC/MET
- Responsible for maintaining the control systems that synchronize operations in HPC.
- Works with maintenance to make needed changes or repairs to control systems and keeps user manuals updated
- Understands the process dynamics and internal process sequences within assigned machines and processes
- Drives execution of defined projects aimed at quality and efficiency improvements
- Monitors and tracks performance indicators for production processes and machines
- Plays an administrative role in data collection and visualization (graphs, trends)
- Participates in onboarding and process tracking integration with Pi data logging project
- Responsible for maintaining operating procedures of existing equipment/processes
- Develops work instructions for new processes/equipment
- Analyzes production processes for continuous improvements and proposes new ideas
