We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an X-Ray Generator Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing, troubleshooting, and technical support of single and 3-phase generators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AC & DC circuitry, a strong understanding of High Voltage electricity, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and be proficient in using testing equipment such as Ohm meters and oscilloscopes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough testing of single and 3-phase generators using advanced testing equipment.
· Identify and troubleshoot issues related to AC & DC circuitry promptly and efficiently.
· Provide technical support for selected products, offering programming assistance and resolution of complex technical issues.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to address and solve product problems reported during testing.
· Install components following specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy.
· Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
· Maintain detailed documentation for all tests performed, accurately recording results, failures, and any rework completed.
· Adhere to ISO standards for documentation and quality system requirements.
· Follow daily/weekly production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and tests.
· Report any potential delays promptly and propose solutions.
· Prioritize and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Adhere to safety protocols and identify potential hazards, taking necessary precautions.
· Report product problems to supervisors in a timely and clear manner.
· Collaborate with the team to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting generators.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience testing and troubleshooting circuit boards.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with an oscilloscope
- Proficiency in AC & DC circuitry with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Basic programming skills for electronic controls or programmable components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and adhere to production schedules.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in electrical engineering is a plus.
