Position Summary
As a Barista / Team Member at UMe, you will be responsible for preparing beverages and food items, providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare milk tea, fruit tea, coffee, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front and back of house areas
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging items
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Support teammates to ensure smooth store operations
- Promote company products, membership programs, and seasonal promotions when needed
Qualifications
- Previous food service or barista experience preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays preferred
- Food Handler Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
