Paid Time Off:

Position Description

Starting Salary Range: $26.44 - $33.65/hour; depending on experience

Location: Lakewood, WA

Classification: Non-exempt

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. - Sponsorship not available


Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects by providing administrative and entry-level project or engineering support to the Major Projects Group. This position is typically based on-site and helps manage documentation, procurement, financial tracking, and team coordination to ensure smooth project operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document Management:
  2. Upload, organize, and maintain project documents in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
  3. Support the preparation and submission of submittals and operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  4. Coordinate updates to red-line and as-built drawings.
  5. Distribute and integrate Requests for Information (RFIs).
  6. Archive final documents and share relevant materials with team members.
  7. Procurement Support:
  8. Coordinate bid requests from clients and vendors.
  9. Prepare and track purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery receipts.
  10. Monitor equipment orders and track delivery timelines.
  11. Permit Coordination:
  12. Assist with the preparation and submission of permit applications for project-related work.
  13. Financial Administration:
  14. Support data entry and updates in the project financial system.
  15. Assist with cost tracking, job cost transfers, and close-out processes.
  16. Help resolve invoice discrepancies and support subcontractor or vendor request processing.
  17. Team Collaboration:
  18. Collaborate with field supervisors, project managers, and other team members to keep work moving forward.
  19. Assist with project close-out tasks and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  20. Office and Logistics:
  21. Manage office supplies, equipment needs, and material inventory.
  22. Handle mail, deliveries, and general office logistics.
  23. General Expectations:
  24. Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
  25. Contribute to a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Support preparation and distribution of project schedules.
  2. Collaborate with the Safety Manager to coordinate site-specific safety plans.
  3. Review project drawings and specifications as needed.
  4. Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and clients.
  5. Attend project meetings and document action items and follow-ups.
Position Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Bluebeam, Smartsheet, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, BIM360, and Viewpoint (Team and Vista).
  2. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and professional growth.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. 0-2 years of related experience.


Required Licensing and Other Certifications:

  1. Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
