Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator timely and accurately process payments to vendors while assuring compliance with Hospital policies and procedures as well as any applicable Federal regulations. Maintains Accounts Payable aging goals and ensures interaction between Accounts Payable and internal departments.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of manual and automated accounting system.
- Ability to apply effective communication oral and written skills.
- Ability to utilize proficiently Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to type 35 words per minutes and use a 10 key by touch
Required Experience:
A. Work Experience:
Three years clerical and/or administrative work-related experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
One year of accounts payable experience preferred.
B. License/Registration/Certification:
None.
C. Education and Training:
High School diploma or equivalent.
