What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR / Recruiting entry level 60-day internship position at Umbrella Driver Recruiters?
We are a friendly and supportive truck driver recruiting company looking for students who want real U.S. work experience and hands-on training in recruiting and communication. This is a 60-day internship, schedule: part-time, flexible (student-friendly) 15 hours per week.
No prior recruiting experience is required, we train you from zero!
What You’ll Do
- Post job openings and create recruiting ads
- Practice real interview scenarios (leads are already provided)
- Use role-play and scenario training to build confidence in communication
- Learn how to recruit and interview truck drivers
- Conduct email and phone communication with drivers
- Update and manage candidate information
- Participate in team meetings, share experiences, and learn from each other
This role is very practical; you learn and apply skills immediately.
Training & Support
- Step-by-step recruiting training
- Interview scripts and real-life scenario practice
- Ongoing guidance and team support
- Friendly environment where questions are always welcome
- Confidence-building communication practice (especially helpful for international students)
Who Can Apply
