What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Picker position at Umarex USA?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on digital or written pick tickets.
- Use RF scanners to update the warehouse inventory system after each pick to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize multiple types of powered industrial vehicles to retrieve items quickly and efficiently
according to pick ticket. - Ensure items are packed securely into boxes for shipping and labeled correctly for delivery.
- Securely wrap palletized orders and mark with identifying information per customer requirements.
- Move completed orders to the correct area loading onto trucks.
- Maintain equipment with daily inspections and report malfunctions to supervisor/facility personnel.
- Follow all health, safety, and quality standards while working in a physically demanding
environment. - Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously and stand for long periods of time.
- Minimum 6 months experience is preferred
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent mathematical skills required
- Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced
environment with minimum supervision. - Order picker truck experience preferred and/or must be lift driver certified or be able to pass
certification test. - Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work overtime when required
