POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: The RN in Michigan must complete twenty-five contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 2 hours of contact hours must be related to pain and pain symptom management. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to implicit bias training.

- Ability to evaluate own daily practice for errors and pursue corrective action

License: Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Certification: Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required
- ER RN must possess and maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS
- TNCC and ENPC (certification must be obtained within one year of employment)

Education: BSN
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care by performing assessments and administering treatments, including IV insertion and tube feeding.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, including critical care and long-term care settings.
- Maintain certifications such as BLS and PALS while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $34.00 - $37.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
