Position Details
- Title: Interventional Radiology Technician
- Type: Contractor, Onsite
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
- Pay Rate: $62.24/hr
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: 07:00 – 15:30; On-call: 15:30 – 07:00 weekdays, 7a–7a weekends, on-call every other week (10–15 days/month)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year, preferably with neuro/stroke experience
- Prepare examination rooms and organize radiographic supplies.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging.
- Position patients and equipment; explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, adjust settings, and monitor image quality.
- Monitor patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Produce diagnostic images and communicate findings to physicians.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks: scheduling, pre-procedure guidance, answering technical questions.
- Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician
- Knowledge of neuro/stroke imaging preferred
- Ability to work independently and on-call schedules
- Familiarity with radiographic procedures, equipment, and patient safety
