Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service by delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. Duties

• Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist servers with food presentation and table setup to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed during delivery.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
• Support bussing duties as needed, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Assist with basic food preparation or plating when required, adhering to safety standards.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and restaurant operations is a plus.
• Experience with serving, bussing, or banquet service enhances suitability for this role.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, culinary processes, or hotel guest services can be advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
