What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead position at Uma Flowers Cannabis Dispensary?
SHIFT LEAD
Starting $18 - $20 per hour
Cannabis experience required.
1 year leadership role preferred
36-40 hours weekly
The shift lead plays a vital role in the day to day procedures at Uma Flowers. The shift lead is required to have a flexible schedule and must be able to work days, nights, weekends and rotating holidays. The shift lead should have excellent communication skills & be self motivated. The purpose of the shift lead is to be management on duty while the general manager is not at the dispensary.
The shift lead will work an associate shift, but will also handle managerial duties during their shift. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
a.) Opening or Closing the shop
b.) Handling Exchanges, Defective Product and Customer Complaints & Queries as they arise, professionally, and in line with company standards
c.) Cash Handling - perform cash till openings, closings and mid day drops, providing change for cashiers
d.) Floor Coverage - Rotate staff through positions to ensure breaks are covered day to day
e.) Perform necessary management functions when GM or inventory lead is not available (includes but not limited to: counting inventory, receiving orders, building product profiles, transferring product, correcting menu discrepancies, exchanging defective product etc)
f.) Maintain excellent working knowledge of Blaze and Metrc functions
g.) Maintain and uphold all State and Company Compliance at all times
REQUIREMENTS
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must be highly organized and efficient.
-Cannabis leadership/management experience required.
-Eager to learn about cannabis industry and stays relevant with new trends
-Ability to multitask and adapt to procedure changes
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Strong communication skills
-Proficient computer skills
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
