This is a full-time, on-site role located in Detroit, MI for an Administrative Specialist at the UM-SEAS Detroit Sustainability Clinic. The Administrative Specialist will manage the day-to-day office functions, scheduling, and communications for the Clinic. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and logistics, managing budgets and expenditures, supporting stakeholder relations, preparing reports, organizing events, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with external partners. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support sustainability-focused projects in collaboration with the community and university partners.
- Experience in administrative tasks such as scheduling, report preparation, and managing office operations
- Budget management and expense tracking skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and stakeholders
