Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Salary Range $75K-80K
Job Function
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient operation of the manufacturing production. Under the direction of the Sr. Operations Manager, the Supervisor plans and directs the manufacturing unit through the TGL(s) and TDS (s). The Supervisor provides daily mentoring and development of direct reports and key employees. Responsible for safety, security, hiring, service level, continuous improvement initiatives, and achievement of production requirements in both quality and quantity. Additional duties include production planning, compliance with policy, procedures, and standards, and setting production goals. Establish and coordinate training and development programs that support company strategic objectives and improved productivity utilizing cross-functional teams (CFT). Resolves daily production constraints due to staffing, technical, material, or scheduling problems. Actively pursues cost reduction in the cost of goods sold. Organizes and monitors skill development training, and detailed employee development plans and milestones. Assists other departments. Interfaces effectively with other departments daily.
