Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, skid steers, dump trucks, and related equipment with precision and safety.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material handling, and transportation to support project timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support other team members with manual labor tasks such as site cleanup, material loading/unloading, and setting up construction zones.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and daily activities for project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and address any operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
