Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for the geriatric population, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong foundation in critical care, effective patient assessment skills, and the ability to work independently and able to work collaboratively with the surgical team.

• Eye Center
• Hours Thursdays (weekly), 8 hrs. guaranteed
• Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans based on individual needs.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Manage airway complications and provide emergency interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, including injections, as per established protocols.
• Provide pain management solutions tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Proven experience in anesthesiology, with a strong background in critical care settings such as ICU or hospital environments.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation practices.
• Solo Independent Practice (Required)
• Familiarity with patient care standards, airway management techniques, and pain management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to safety protocols.
