What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production/Shipping Coordinator position at Ultra Pink?
A dynamic fashion company based in New York City is seeking a Production and Shipping Coordinator. Candidate will report to Senior Operations Manager and be responsible for duties that include but not limited to:
- Attending product review meeting, entering styles, assigning and upload UPC’s, creating sales orders in the ERP software, updating data when necessary.
- Communicate with vendors, freight forwarders and brokers to ensure timely clearance, freight release and delivery of shipments.
- Daily communication with brokers, shipping teams and warehouses to ensure on time routing, shipping, etc., track BOL’s, obtain POD’s.
- Receive goods and track inventory, review vendor and routing guides taking ownership of each customer’s SOP’s, working understanding of required EDI transactions, cancel dates, routing deadlines, shipment methods, etc.
- Providing warehouses with pick tickets, packing lists, BOL’s, labels, work orders, routing guides and shipping notes.
- Creating incoming shipment logs and follow up/review receiving reports from the warehouse before receiving in the system.
- Invoice outgoing shipments. Review incoming documents from factory for errors.
- Run reports from ERP as and when required. Inventory management and adjustment.
- Follow up with accounting regarding pending credit approvals to release orders for shipping to warehouse. Update credit approvals in the system.
- Analyze, review, dispute and/or submit chargeback violations for approval/processing.
- Organizational skills and excellent communication skills is a must with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of WinFashion software highly preferred.
- Attention to detail is paramount, as timely shipments and adherence to client guidelines are of the highest importance
