What You’ll Do:
Manage the care of residents in skilled nursing/assisted living facilities
Conduct admissions, physical exams, medication reviews, and screenings
Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and medical directors
Serve as the go-to provider for urgent needs and status changes
Communicate with families regarding care plans and progress
Nurse Practitioner Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner License in Mississippi
- DEA License
- Nurse Practitioner national certification
- A clinical background in adult, family or geriatric specialties
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for all new hires unless the individual qualifies for a remote, religious, or medical exemption.
Nurse Practitioner Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in internal medicine, gerontology, or cardiology
- Excellent administrative, organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented
- Dependable and reliable
- Nursing experience in LTC / SNF a plus
