We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Nurse to join our team in the Senior Prospectives program, a Geriatric Behavioral Health outpatient program located at the Medical Center of Scottsville, Kentucky. The working schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift. No holiday or weekend work. Excellent benefits.
In this role you will provide clinical nursing services as appropriate for the program participants. This includes patient assessment and the development and implementation of treatment plans. The nurse assesses and monitors the health status while patients are in the program in addition to taking off physician's orders, monitor/reconcile medications and providing health education for clients and families. Quality clinical documentation is required. The RN functions as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team and communication is coordinated between the unit, medical director, primary care physician and other clinical services. In addition, the RN will assist in the assessment of referred patients to determine eligibility. The RN will also participate in marketing efforts for census development. The RN may perform administrative, clerical and other tasks according to program policy. The RN must demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of performance.

Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate must have graduated from a state approved school of nursing with an associate's degree and have a current RN Kentucky license. Geriatric and psychiatric experience preferred. Must be able to work full-time day shift position. Must be able to use a computer, especially Microsoft Word. Requires flexibility in duties; good verbal skills; adept in dealing with people and identifying treatment needs, especially in the geriatric community. CPR certification and current driver's license.
Salary : $67,000 - $72,000
