Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

Required Skills

• 1 years of professional software development experience or recent college graduate in the field of engineering or computer science.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
• Willingness to act according to a service oriented mindset
• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) etc.
• Desire and willingness to follow a controlled development cycle and release process
• Above average ability to communicate complex information to a diverse audience through written and verbal methods.

• 2-year degree 2 years of experience or a 4-year degree with 0-1 years experience.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.

• System Diagramming Expertise
• 1 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• 1 years experience with a back-end language like Python, C#, Java or similar.
• 1 years experience with a front-end language like HTML/CSS/JS, ReactJS, AngularJS or similar
• 1 years experience in database design using SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL or similar
• 1 years experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, Power BI, Tableau or similar
• 1 years experience writing block diagrams, ER diagrams and test flow diagrams
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory security concepts
• Knowledge of REST based Web Services like Microsoft-IIS, Apache or similar
• Experience with Epicor, Oracle or similar ERP system
• Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition Software
• Experience with National Instruments LabView
