Job Description

The Engineering Technician will work closely with engineering to build, and service electro-mechanical systems. He/she may also assist with manufacturing and contribute to design. He/she will be working on a variety of systems consisting of electrical cables, power supplies, computers, custom circuit cards, and mechanical racks.

Required Skills:

• 2 years of working with engineering to build prototypes
• 2 years of soldering experience; both surface mount and PCB
• 2 years electrical cable assembly (crimping and soldering)
• 2 year of troubleshooting electrical assemblies, and documentation
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.

• Mechanical Assembly per engineering documentation
• Electrical test execution per documented procedure
• Altium Schematic Capture - CAD documentation Skills
• Manage Work Requests
• Laboratory Management

Physical Requirements:

• Mechanical Assembly; lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted, up to 4 feet off the ground. Also, team lift for heavy objects
