Ultra Fine Specialty Products, LLC, a growing manufacturer of advanced materials specializing in high-performance metal powders, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Packaging Process Technician to join our production team in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (possible 12-hour shifts 6:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.as needed); weekends as needed
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour (DOE) Comprehensive Benefits
This position is responsible for the final packaging, weighing, labeling, documentation, and preparation of specialty metal powder products for shipment to customers in industries such as additive manufacturing, metal injection molding, thermal spray, and advanced industrial applications.
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in accuracy, safety, organization, and working within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
Package finished metal powder materials into drums, pails, bags, boxes, and specialty customer containers
Accurately weigh, seal, label, and verify packaged product quantities
Complete lot traceability paperwork, packaging logs, and shipping documentation
Inspect finished packaging for cleanliness, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements
Stage packaging supplies and finished goods for shipment or internal movement
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts/fork trucks, and approved material handling equipment as needed
Assist with warehouse organization, inventory counts, and production support
Maintain a clean and orderly packaging area to ensure product integrity and safety
Support shipping, warehouse, and production departments during high-demand periods
What We Are Looking For
Prior manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with product weights, labels, and paperwork
Ability to read work instructions and complete documentation correctly
Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds
Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Previous fork-truck/forklift experience is a plus
Previous overhead crane experience is a plus
Experience in powder metal, chemical, industrial materials, or quality-controlled manufacturing environments preferred
