Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and client expectations
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface maintenance
- Conduct outdoor work as needed to maintain exterior cleanliness of properties or commercial premises
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while moving furniture or bulky items during deep cleans or renovations
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and manual handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple sites
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions
- Experience in dusting, floor cleaning, laundry management, and implementing sanitation protocols
