ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II – $25.00 ---$29.76/hr
Compensation: $25.76 per hour benefits BOE --$29.76/hr
The Role:
The Engineering Technician II translates engineering designs into clear work instructions, drawings, and assembly documentation. You will collaborate with engineering teams on design reviews, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting while ensuring GMP compliance.
What You Will Do:
- Develop work instructions and Operational Method Sheets (OMS)
- Streamline manufacturing methods and training materials
- Implement GMP within assembly methods
- Support design, test, diagnostics, and modification of prototype systems
- Work from schematics, block diagrams, and written/verbal instructions
- Create assembly drawings and BOMs from assembly models
- Generate manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer
- Perform testing using design of experiments and data analysis
- Design for manufacturability, cost goals, and testability
- Work in controlled/cleanroom environments
What You Bring:
- AAS degree or higher in technical field (Electronic, IT, Physics) or equivalent military/work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Basic knowledge of component/system design using SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer
- Basic knowledge of drawing standards, dimensioning, and GD&T
- NPT and compression fitting installation and test knowledge
- Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience
- NPI or prototype manufacturing experience
- Ability to work in cleanroom environment
