Manager, Private Credit
The Manager, Private Credit will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of private credit loan operations. The ideal candidate will provide credit operations and technology support related to multiple business units focused on Middle Market Direct Lending, Private Equity, Commercial Real Estate, Broadly Syndicated Loans, CLO’s and Special Purpose Vehicles. Core functions include building and maintaining credit operations workflows in the accounting system, establishing processes and procedures for daily credit operations workflows and training staff on credit operations. Provide daily operational support to ULPs Private Credit clients.
Duties:
- Provide daily operational support to ULPs Private Credit clients.
- Support all aspects of credit operations including Commercial Real Estate, Middle Market Direct Lending, and Broadly Syndicated Loans.
- Build and own cash and position reconciliation workflows
- Provide quality control and maintain data oversight
- Participate in projects for automation and process improvements as it relates to credit operations, position reconciliations, and cash management
- The role requires close interaction with various parties including client service support, fund accounting teams, technology and sales/relationship management teams. This role will involve working in a dynamic team environment and presents opportunities to further develop industry knowledge to provide custom operational support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of bank debt and fixed income securities and how they relate to different fund structures.
Qualifications /Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA preferred
- Undergraduate degree with 6 years of relevant work experience in investment Experience in the Private Credit/Middle Market loan space
- Experience with loan operations
- Proactive, self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Loan Administration Practices
- Experience with Virtus and FIS accounting systems (Is Preferred)
- Organized, detail-oriented and extremely thorough with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications
- Management or financial services environment (loan operations experience required)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to complete deliverables timely and accurately
- Team-oriented individual with the ability to work well across diverse groups in a collaborative, dynamic team environment
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
