Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Vineland, NJ. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.
What You'll Do- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with gait training, balance, strengthening, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility
- Carry out individualized treatment plans and monitor resident progress
- Communicate changes in resident status with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality resident care
- Collaborative rehabilitation department with PT, OT, and SLP professionals
