Job Type: Full-Time * Temporary Assignment, 40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations for the duration of this assignment. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff and overseeing all shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics activities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and skilled in managing fast-paced warehouse environments.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee all warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, stocking, and sample inventory.
- Supervise warehouse staff and assist with daily activities when needed.
- Ensure accurate receiving of inventory and maintain proper stock levels through cycle counts.
- Manage proper storage, picking, packing, and shipment of customer orders.
- Review and implement customer shipping requirements (packaging, labeling, shipment methods, export regulations).
- Coordinate special shipments and complete all necessary documentation.
- Monitor and reconcile PS reports with inventory control.
- Reorganize warehouse areas as needed to improve efficiency.
- Assist Customer Administration and the Quality Manager in resolving shipping errors.
- Ensure on-time and accurate sample deliveries to customers and representatives.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- Shipping & receiving
- Inventory control and general warehouse operations
Skills:
- Proficient with computers and inventory control systems
- Experience with UPS/FedEx online shipping tools
- Strong communication and people skills
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate
- Understanding of SAP (shipping/receiving modules)
- Knowledge of packing slips, receiving documents, logistics, and export regulations
