Real Estate Closer

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Closer to join a dynamic team in California. This role involves preparing closing disclosures, managing funds for refinance and equity mortgages, and ensuring all regulatory guidelines are met. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within tight timeframes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with escrow and title companies, ensuring that all transactions adhere to company policies and industry standards.

• Maintain a closing pipeline by completing closing documents within company-stated timeframes, providing final funding authorization to closing agents, and adhering to wire cut-off times.
• Prepare and deliver Closing Disclosures in accordance with TRID requirements under Regulation Z (TILA) and Regulation X (RESPA). Review and approve Escrow Settlement Statements in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Identify and disclose fee tolerance cures related to applicable fees being added or increased without proper disclosure. Notify Closer/Funder Team Lead and Closing Manager.
• Examine and review files for completion, including title commitments, settlement statements, and payoffs. Order necessary documents for loan closing and prepare loan closing documents.
• Update Mortgage Cadence with delivery details of Closing Disclosures and loan documents. Confirm timing and delivery details regarding initial Loan Estimates and revised LEs.
• Support loan closings performed by settlement agents and branches. Review Escrow Settlement Statements on refinance transactions for accuracy.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding loan document forms and closing timeframes. Order property title endorsements and ensure timely document delivery to escrow.
• Prepare files for funding, ensuring documentation meets underwriting criteria, and disburse loan proceeds to escrow or title.
• Disburse proceeds via checks and/or wires, coordinating with Finance and Loan Servicing. Accurately process transactions through general ledger.
• Balance daily transactions and verify checks are in balance. Implement policies and procedures as required.
• Assist with Real Estate team phone queue and ensure high member service levels.
• Maintain compliance with Mission Fed, departmental, and security policies, and complete all required compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

• High school diploma required.
• Detailed understanding of regulatory compliance guidelines and requirements within TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure amendments and other relevant acts.
  
  

Monday - Friday

Competitive salary with a max pay of $25 per hour and a min pay of $25 per hour.
