Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. the role is 100% onsite.

The Quality Control Engineer ensures that all manufactured products meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection, testing, and process verification. This role collaborates closely with production teams, engineers, and cross-functional departments to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Inspection & Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing of PCBAs to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects in products and processes.
  • Corrective Actions: Validate the implementation of corrective measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to KAIZEN projects and other initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and improvement opportunities for management review.
  • Issue Investigation: Lead or assist in root cause analysis of quality issues, coordinating with PD, IE, SQE, and ME teams to implement preventive measures.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct and update PFMEA to identify potential risks and define control strategies.
  • Checklist Maintenance: Revise QC inspection checklists based on product updates, process changes, and customer requirements.
  • System Oversight: Monitor and approve feedback in inspection systems, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with QA and other departments in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of quality tools (Pareto, Histogram, Check Sheets, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes.
  • Experience or willingness to learn electronic assembly and inspection techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and good visual acuity for defect identification.
  • Reliable, cooperative, and able to thrive in a team-based manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement under supervisory guidance.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
