Job Title: Operations Assistant
Location: Central San Diego
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $25 - $27/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Assistant with construction industry, or related field, experience. You will support daily operations, project coordination, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the workflows and demands of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, project tracking, and coordination of construction activities
- Maintain project documentation, contracts, permits, and compliance records
- Support communication between project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Track materials, orders, and inventory to ensure timely project delivery
- Prepare reports, update spreadsheets, and assist with budgeting tasks
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures
- Help manage the front desk when needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in the construction industry or related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Service Titan experience a huge plus!
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with construction terminology, processes, and project timelines
Preferred:
- Experience with project management or construction software (e.g., Service Titan)
- Basic understanding of permits, bids, and contracts
