Supply Chain Administrative Assistant
Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Administrative Assistant to support purchasing and production planning operations. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with data, coordinating across teams, and playing a key role in keeping supply chain processes running smoothly.
Purchasing Support (35%)
- Assist with purchase order creation, updates, and tracking in the ERP system
- Monitor supplier confirmations and ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, and lead times
- Follow up with vendors on open orders, discrepancies, and delivery timelines
- Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation
Scheduling & Planning Support (35%)
- Update demand and supply data in the ERP system to support production scheduling
- Track work order status and monitor material availability
- Collaborate with operations and purchasing to help resolve scheduling conflicts
- Run and review basic reports to ensure alignment between supply and demand
Data & Administrative Support (25%)
- Maintain accurate master data (part numbers, vendors, lead times) within the ERP system
- Support reporting, data entry, and general administrative tasks for the supply chain team
- Identify and escalate data inconsistencies or gaps
Other (5%)
- Assist with additional tasks and team support as needed
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or administrative support
- Experience using an ERP system (any platform; Epicor a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and follow-through skills
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible)
- Location: Hybrid (onsite training, then primarily remote with weekly onsite day)
- Pay: $23 - $25/hour
- Type: Contract with potential for long-term opportunity
