Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an MSO medical group in Long Beach. They are looking to hire multiple Medical Credentialing Analyst's. This will be for a 6-8 month project. The pay is $25-$30 per hour based on experience.
Credentialing Analyst (Temp)
This role supports high-volume provider credentialing operations to ensure timely onboarding, data accuracy, and compliance with NCQA, CMS, State, and Health Plan requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process credentialing/recredentialing files (collect, review, and organize provider documentation)
- Follow up with providers/practices for missing or incomplete information
- Perform and coordinate Primary Source Verification (PSV)(licenses, DEA, board certs, education, sanctions, malpractice)
- Support provider onboarding and track credentialing packet completion
- Maintain accurate data entry and updates in credentialing systems
- Monitor and report on:
- File completeness
- Recredentialing expirations
- Cycle times and backlog
- Assist with audit readiness (NCQA, health plan, internal audits) and file quality reviews
- Validate provider demographic and roster data
- Support backlog reduction and special projects
- Handle administrative tasks (document scanning, indexing, system updates)
Focus of Role:
Increase credentialing capacity during high-volume periods (onboarding, acquisitions, expansions, audits) while ensuring compliance and timely provider activation.
