Maintenance Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our client, a growing manufacturing team in Wilton, NH. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining equipment, supporting facility operations, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient production.

Location: Wilton, NH

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00-$31.00/hour, depending on experience

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Replace or repair defective parts and perform equipment adjustments as needed
• Change air filters and assist with routine facility maintenance
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance schedules, and work orders
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company safety standards
• Support additional maintenance and facility-related projects as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience preferred
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, production, or facilities maintenance environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting required
