The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts while providing essential support across employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. Serving as the primary talent acquisition partner for the organization, this role will develop recruiting strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The HR Generalist will also serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws while fostering a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR professional with proven success in recruiting exempt and non-exempt manufacturing employees, strong employee relations skills, and experience supporting a manufacturing organization. Aerospace industry experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (40%)
Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, technical, professional, and leadership positions.
Partner with hiring managers to develop staffing strategies and workforce plans that support business objectives.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, community partnerships, and other recruiting channels.
Screen applicants, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and manage the selection process.
Extend offers, negotiate compensation within approved guidelines, and facilitate pre-employment processes.
Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline health, and hiring outcomes.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical manufacturing and skilled labor positions.
Represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, trade schools, colleges, and community recruiting initiatives.
Drive employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

Employee Relations & HR Support (30%)
Serve as a trusted resource and first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and workplace concerns.
Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding policies, procedures, performance management, and employee relations matters.
Conduct workplace investigations and document findings and recommendations.
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Compliance & HR Operations (30%)
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist with onboarding, employee recordkeeping, HRIS maintenance, policy administration, and reporting.
Support leaves of absence, benefits administration, and other HR programs as needed.
Maintain employment records and recruiting documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications
Required
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
3 years of recruiting experience with responsibility for full-cycle talent acquisition.
Experience recruiting within a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
Strong interviewing, sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification.
Experience recruiting skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and aerospace personnel.

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
