CNC Operator
Location: Sylmar, CA
Pay: $22-$32/hour (DOE)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sylmar, CA. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) according to job specifications
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operation to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Make minor adjustments to programs and tooling as needed
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- 1 years of CNC operating experience preferred (entry-level candidates with training considered)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of G-code and machining processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
