Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Buyer to join their client's dynamic team in California. The Buyer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and optimizing purchasing strategies to align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and assess their suitability for meeting the company's requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Review and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and supplier agreements.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
