Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced General Construction Superintendent to join their client's team in California. This role involves managing construction projects across the U.S. and requires a leader with a strong background in construction management. The General Construction (GC) Superintendent will serve as the main onsite representative, overseeing all aspects of construction activities and ensuring successful project completion. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite representative for all construction activities, maintaining high visibility and communication with owners, clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Supervise and lead a team of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Manage all onsite notifications, communications, schedules, and deliverables for SPAN general contracting projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and a positive safety culture onsite.
- Operate technical equipment safely and efficiently.
- Mentor and provide leadership to forepersons and crew members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Travel to work sites throughout the U.S. as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Minimum of 10 years of trade experience with expertise in Pre-Engineered Steel Building Erection.
- Over 10 years in a supervisory, managerial, or construction management leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, regional, and local construction laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and familiar with using a PC, cell phone, and company communication tools.
- OSHA 30 and First Aid Certified. Certified Aerial Platform and Forklift Operator.
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on the company's insurance policy.
- Advanced knowledge of building components and installation procedures, as well as proficiency in reading construction drawings and plans.
Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually, with potential bonuses up to 35% of the base salary based on performance.
This position involves approximately 100% travel time and is a supervisory role.
