Handyman / Property Repair Estimator (Waterloo, IA)

Ultimate Properties is looking for a dependable and skilled handyman in the Waterloo, Iowa area to help evaluate and repair residential properties.

We regularly review homes we’re considering purchasing and need someone who can inspect properties and provide detailed repair estimates to help us determine project costs. If we move forward with a property, we’d like to hire you for the repair work as an independent contractor.

This is a part-time, flexible, on-call opportunity — perfect for someone who values independence, has solid repair experience, and wants consistent side work with a growing real estate investment company.

Responsibilities:

• Visit properties to inspect and provide repair or renovation estimates (interior and exterior).
• Perform general repair and renovation work on purchased homes, such as:
• Roofing, siding, and exterior maintenance
• Painting, drywall, flooring, plumbing, or electrical repairs (depending on skill set)
• Communicate clearly and provide reliable estimates and feedback.
• Work independently and manage small projects efficiently.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in general home repair, remodeling, or handyman work
• Ability to prepare accurate, detailed repair estimates
• Reliable transportation and your own tools
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Available for part-time or on-call work as needed
