Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Handyman and/or General Contractor to assist with maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects across multiple residential properties in the Duluth and Superior area.
This is an independent contractor position offering a flexible schedule. You can work as many or as few hours as fit your availability, provided projects and maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. We have several ongoing projects and are looking for someone reliable to help keep them moving forward.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing home renovations, including drywall installation and repair, framing, light electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, appliance repairs, and other general construction tasks
- Completing routine property maintenance, including exterior upkeep, interior repairs, patching, painting, cleaning, and general maintenance
- Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues as they arise or coordinating with qualified contractors when appropriate
- Ensuring all assigned properties are well maintained and repair requests are addressed promptly
- Occasionally showing available rental properties to prospective tenants
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own tools required to perform maintenance and repair work
- Experience in property maintenance, construction, or general contracting
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable, trustworthy, and responsive
- Comfortable performing a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to help where needed
