Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation systems, including underground piping, sprinklers, valves, controllers, and automated irrigation control systems.
• Conduct routine irrigation maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot system faults using electrical diagnostics tools and techniques.
• Perform irrigation system repairs by replacing faulty equipment, repairing leaks, or adjusting components for proper operation.
• Utilize excavation equipment such as excavators and hand tools to access underground components safely and efficiently.
• Manage irrigation system troubleshooting projects by identifying issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly with overall landscape maintenance and lawn care efforts.
• Maintain detailed records of all irrigation management activities, including installation progress, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry best practices in construction, horticulture, and soil science.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance tips to clients.
• Apply fertilizer and weed control to customers lawn in our 5 step program
• Diagnose weed and lawn issues for customers and recommend solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation equipment such as valves, controllers, pumps, and sprinkler heads.
• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics specific to automated irrigation control systems.
• Familiarity with excavation techniques using excavators or hand tools for underground work.
• Background in landscaping or landscape maintenance with an understanding of horticulture principles.
• Construction experience is highly valued for managing large-scale irrigation installation projects.
• Knowledge of soil science to optimize watering schedules and improve plant health.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for system troubleshooting and repairs under tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist clients effectively.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.43 per hour
