Position Summary
As a Hand Fabricator & Installer for Ultimate Granite, you will play a key role in crafting and installing residential and commercial stone projects. You will be tasked with utilizing hand tools, grinders, and polishers to create and finish natural and engineered stone countertops and projects according to precise specifications. Further, you will ensure a smooth installation process from preparing the jobsite, to conducting final inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products are fabricated and finished with attention to detail and precision, reflecting the high-quality standards of Ultimate Granite and Stone Surfaces.
Ensure precise execution of fabrication processes, maintaining tight tolerances of 1/16.
Conduct regular quality checks during the fabrication process to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
Exhibit physical strength and stamina to lift and carry completed countertops, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Install stone surfaces, including countertops, backsplashes, and other projects, with precision and care
Conduct final inspections of completed installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to improve workflow processes and address production challenges.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in natural stone fabrication and installation (or relevant experience).
Strong knowledge of hand tools, grinders, polishers, and other equipment used in stone working.
Excellent craftsmanship skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
