We are looking for an organized, hands-on Assistant Bakery Manager to help lead our production team and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Position Summary
The Assistant Bakery Manager supports the Bakery Manager in overseeing daily production, supervising employees, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production schedules are completed safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people while working alongside the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily bakery production
Supervise and coach production employees
Help create and maintain production schedules
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
Maintain product quality and consistency
Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
Assist with employee training and onboarding
Help improve workflow and production efficiency
Support equipment maintenance and cleanliness
Step into leadership role when Bakery Manager is unavailable
Qualifications
2 years of supervisory or management experience in a bakery, food manufacturing, restaurant, or commercial kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Experience with production planning or inventory management is a plus

Monday–Thur 6 am-3 pm
