Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Methuen, MA, with flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Mental Health Counselor will provide therapeutic services, including individual and relationship counseling, develop treatment plans, and support clients in achieving emotional well-being. The role also involves conducting assessments, implementing strategies for mental health improvement, and coordinating case management as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in Treatment Planning and Case Management
- Comprehensive understanding of Mental Health principles and Psychological practices
- Skills in Relationship Counseling and conflict resolution
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- On track for licensure
- Experience with diverse client populations and cultural competencies is preferred
