Automotive Service Advisor – Ultimate Car Care (Locally Owned)

Overview:
Ultimate Car Care is a fast-paced, locally owned auto repair facility known for professionalism, quality, and efficiency. We’re seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. You'll serve as the key link between our customers and technicians—guiding clients through their service needs while helping keep our operation running like a well-oiled machine.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers promptly and assess their service needs
- Explain recommended services (tires, brakes, mechanical repairs, etc.) clearly and professionally
- Write accurate repair orders and auto estimates
- Promote additional preventative maintenance services (earn commission)
- Manage transactions and handle payments
- Take pictures and import them into Digital Vehicle Inspection Templates
- Coordinate with techs to ensure repairs are completed on time
- Communicate updates to customers throughout the process
- Handle questions and concerns with patience and professionalism
- Stay informed on automotive products and trends
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ Strong mechanical knowledge (experience as a mechanic or in service management a plus)
✔ Familiarity with automotive systems and services
✔ Strong customer service and sales ability
✔ Able to multitask and perform under pressure
✔ Experience in fast-paced, professional shops preferred
✔ Cloud based Shop Management software knowledge experience is a bonus, not a must
