What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Customs Broker position at Ultimate Brokerage, Inc?
We are seeking a licensed Customs Broker with a minimum of 1 years of experience with customs entry writing and Classification.
Responsibilities:
1. classify imported goods, process complex import transactions, and notify customs
2. Possess knowledge of customs clearance processes, regulations, classification, and valuation
3. Routinely audit brokerage files and payments to customs
4. Maintain customs compliance documentation
5. Process documents through the ABI system, obtaining customs release/ government agency releases
6. Arrange delivery and invoicing of the import account
7. Communicate with clients and colleagues consistently with accurate and detailed information to ensure effective customer service
Qualifications:
1. High school Diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree a plus
2. Required: 1 year minimum entry writing and/or brokerage operation experience Knowledge of domestic/international geography Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent communication skills CargoWise experience a plus
3. Customs Broker License is required
