The Opportunity

The Field Services Practice Builder collaborates with clients to identify their needs and develop innovative solutions. This role is dedicated to driving business growth within the Field Services market. The focus is on creating cutting-edge solutions that address current needs and anticipate future market and client demands.

The ideal candidate values teamwork and excels in collaborating with colleagues, industry partners, and clients. They are curious, a strong critical thinker, and solution-oriented, effectively bringing together resources, partners, and technology. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Operations and Field Services.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute territory and sales/account plans that deliver sales results and client satisfaction.
  • Listen to clients, discuss today's challenges and evolving needs with compelling, comprehensive solutions
  • Invest in and maintain a keen awareness of the development of consultative and engineering/surveying/environmental technologies and solutions.
  • Engage with the industry and clients to effectively represent Ulteig, enhance Ulteig's reputation, and build high-impact, influential relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify, develop, and convert opportunities with new and existing clients within the survey and environmental markets.
  • Develop and execute territory and business development plans based on the client's immediate and long-term challenges and needs.
  • Partner internally on key, complex projects and, as needed, provides key project oversight.
  • Lead through influence across the organization, working closely with finance, technical, field, and market development team members.
  • Partner across the organization (Client Solutions, Marketing, Proposals, Project Management, Engineering/Operations, Finance, Legal) to pursue, propose, and win business.

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Finance degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, client management, and project development required.
  • Strong reputation in the energy markets, speaking and thought leadership experience at industry events, and solid working relationships with clients.
  • Experience in selling to clients needing field services.
  • Proven experience in proposal development.
  • Strong business acumen: strategic partnerships, innovation, project management, proposals, business development.
  • Demonstrated business development results and success.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Demonstrates ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with current and potential clients and internal colleagues.
  • Possesses well-rounded knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of associated industries.
  • Demonstrates excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal/written communications, time-management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects, and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

    Additional Opportunity Details:
    Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $134,300 - $181,800
    * Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.

    This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
