Substation CAD Technician II

The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician II. The CAD Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs. 

What You'll Do

Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Substation department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.

What We Expect from You

• Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
• Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be beneficial
• Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $32.35hr - $38.50hr
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role

Salary : $32 - $39
